What is the dress code for the wedding?
The dress code for the wedding is formal suits and dresses in neutral colors ONLY (browns, tans, beiges, cream, gold, black etc.) No reds, pinks, purples, greens, blues, yellows, etc
Should I RSVP for a plus one that was not written on the envelope of the invitation?
No, this is an intimate wedding. Do not bring or invite anyone who has not been directly invited without prior approval from us (this means no plus ones unless it was written on your specific invitation or discussed with both the bride and groom. Please do not assume you can bring a plus one, confirm with us first).
When is the RSVP deadline for the wedding?
May 2, 2025. It must be RSVP'd with an email to [email protected]
Should I send details about the wedding to people who are not invited?
No, this is for safety reasons. Please do not share our wedding website or any details about the wedding with anyone who is not on the invite list.
What do I do if I do not eat meat or if I have a dietary restriction?
If you need a vegetarian/vegan option or you have food allergies, please email us this request with your RSVP by May 2, 2025. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate dietary changes on the day of the wedding.
There are 3 people from my immediate household that are on the invite list and will be attending the wedding, should I send 3 separate emails for each person?
No, you can write all 3 attendees names , dietary restrictions etc. for each person in one email RSVP. You are responsible for forwarding the wedding details to them.
Where do I book my hotel stay for August 2, 2025?
C hotel by Carmen's. Call (905) 381-9898 to BOOK – Online booking is NOT available ONLY BY PHONE! Rooms are limited! When you call, mention “McPherson” and provide the booking block number: 2508THERES to secure a room under the August 2, 2025, Wedding Block. These rooms are reserved for our guests, but they need your information to claim it.
Do I have to RSVP?
Yes, this is mandatory. RSVP by clicking the links for each event and emailing [email protected]. I have emailed the template to you.
What gift should I bring to the bridal shower or wedding?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. If you wish to give a gift, we kindly appreciate monetary contributions, which can be placed in the card box at the reception. For those who prefer to give a physical gift, we’ve created an online registry with items that can be conveniently delivered to our home. If you’re unable to attend the wedding, the registry also offers the option to send a gift directly.
Is there parking available?
Yes, please arrive early for parking for the ceremony and reception.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes.
What time does the wedding end?
1:00am.
Are kids allowed?
No, unless both the bride and groom have approved it.
What should I do if I can’t attend?

Is there a shuttle or bus that will take me from the ceremony to the reception?
At this time, transportation from the ceremony to the reception is not provided. However, if you need a ride, please let us know — if there’s enough interest, we’ll look into arranging a shuttle or group transportation.
